A man left his husky alone in the house: he was not prepared for what he saw upon his return (2 photos)
A man from Michigan, USA, decided to leave his beloved husky alone at home while he had to leave for just an hour on business. However, upon returning, he realized he had made a big mistake.
Kevin decided not to lock his husky, Layla, in a cage, as he usually did when leaving the house, but to let her roam freely inside. But the pet decided to wreak havoc. Newsweek reported on this story.
But the man's biggest mistake was leaving Layla alone with a large flowerpot, which he had brought indoors because of the cold weather. The owner was worried the plant would freeze, but he didn't consider that the husky could pose a greater threat to the flowerpot.
Kevin decided to share a photo of the aftermath of his decision on Reddit. Users reacted strongly to the photo, which shows the husky lying remorsefully in the living room with the remains of the plant lying next to her. The post garnered hundreds of comments and likes, as well as thousands of views.
"I can't believe a plant attacked him in his own house," joked one user.
Another user wryly suggested that the mess in the house could be caused by "burglars or a tornado."
"This dog must have been traumatized by what swept across the room—either a tornado or burglars!" he noted.
The man told the media that he wasn't angry with his beloved dog, whom he adopted from a shelter when she was 10 months old. On the contrary, the moment he saw the dog with a guilty look in the living room with a broken flowerpot, he thought it was funny, which is why he shared the story with social media users.
Kevin also admitted that he learned from the situation and has made efforts to prevent a repeat of the situation. In particular, he removed all the plants from the room.
