A car transporter carrying extremely rare BMWs and Mercedes was spotted in Ukraine (4 photos)
Real “car museums” are increasingly appearing on Ukrainian roads — recently a car carrier with three legendary cars was spotted: BMW 2002tii Alpina A4 Tribute, BMW Alpina B9 (E28) and Mercedes-Benz 500SL AMG (R129). Each of them is not just a car, but a rare specimen that is worth, sometimes, even more than new premium cars.
The BMW 2002tii Alpina/ Tribute is a classic from the 1970s and 1980s, and was produced in very limited numbers or as a “tribute” based on the original. Because of this, even in good condition, such cars can be valued at fifty thousand dollars or more - and it is not uncommon for their value to exceed the price of a modern luxury SUV. 
The BMW Alpina in the E28 body (B9 version) is another rare “swallow”. Given that the base E28 models are already collectible, versions with Alpina modifications and original equipment can cost significantly more, especially among enthusiasts. 
The Mercedes 500SL AMG (R129 series) is a 1990s roadster with a sporty character. The AMG versions further enhance its status. In good condition, such cars can also reach prices comparable to today's high-end sports cars.
