In Hong Kong, a Girl Creates an AI System That Monitors Children in Kindergartens and Detects Possible Signs of Violence

Chow Se-lok spent six months developing the technology: she taught the neural network to analyze the sequence of events by modeling various scenarios of children's behavior.

And she was able to do all this on a laptop with Windows XP, which her parents gave her when she was a child. Since then, she has been a fan of technology, because the little girl had to figure out how the computer works on her own. This is how her journey began.

Her Kid-AID project has already won the main prizes at the Hong Kong Science Fair and the InfoMatrix international competition.
