Imagine living without the hassle of rent, food, or travel bills. You pay once and forget about it until you die, but preferably not too long before you die.

Cruise company Villa Vie Residences has launched a Golden Passport program that allows retirees and those approaching that age to settle permanently on board the Odyssey. For a one-time fee, grandpas and grandmas get access to round-the-world voyages, where every day brings new horizons.

This is not just a vacation, but a real choice for those who are tired of routine and want to spend years in motion, with an ocean view and a glass in hand.

It all starts with choosing a cabin and age. The price depends on how old you are: the older you are, the cheaper it is. For ninety-year-olds, the fee starts at around $100,000 for a cabin on the second deck. And for those who are fifty-five, you will have to fork out around $400,000.

The company emphasizes that this is more profitable than spending savings on a regular nursing home, where there are no such adventures.

The Odyssey liner is a full-fledged floating city. In three and a half years, it visits 425 ports in 147 countries. Wake up in Tahiti, and a week later you're already in Lisbon.

All inclusive on board: three meals a day, room cleaning, laundry, regular medical check-ups and even alcohol during meals.

Internet, spa treatments and fitness rooms are also included in the package. No additional payments for port fees or taxes, everything is covered by your contribution.

Want to invite friends or relatives? No problem, for $129 a day they can join. The program guarantees a place on board with thirty days' notice, and if you notify later, then subject to availability.

The company positions this as a way not to worry about finances in old age, but to enjoy life in a community of like-minded people, where every day is a new discovery.

Of course, such a life requires courage. Not everyone is ready to leave solid ground for eternal sailing. But it is still more interesting than giving your millions to telephone scammers.
