To draw her colleagues' attention to the threat of deepfakes, Laura McClure used an AI-generated image. According to the MP, such "photos" are easily created by online services in a few minutes and can cause significant damage to reputation.
She proposed establishing criminal liability for the creation of sexual deepfakes and their distribution without consent.
