Girl fined for carrying dog on motorcycle (2 photos + 1 video)
A police officer from Queensland (Australia) stopped a motorcyclist who was carrying a dog. However, the method of transportation was unacceptable.
The owner had earlier bought a harness online and used it to fasten her pet to her chest. The police officer was even slightly amused by the strange scene, but laughter is laughter, and road safety is above all else. The woman, who did not even suspect that she had broken the rules, was fined $376.
Shane Panoho, a senior sergeant with the Highway Patrol, explained that a dog strapped to the chest could block the bikers' view, which is unsafe. The animal could also start twitching for some reason (being scared or overexcited), and this could also easily lead to an accident.
