Son throws away dad's blanket, not knowing there was money hidden inside

A resident of Anhui (China), who found an old blanket in a garbage dump, was very intrigued, because a large sum of money was wrapped in the blanket - about 20,000 dollars.

The honest man did not take the money - especially since he was scared, deciding that the cash was evidence of some crime. So, the man took the money to the police, after which an investigation began.

It soon became clear that the bills ended up in the trash can completely by accident. They were thrown out by a local man, whose elderly father had been hospitalized the day before. Seeing how old and dirty his dad's blanket was, the son immediately got rid of it, not suspecting that his parent was using the blanket as a "piggy bank".

When the hospitalized old man was told about the incident, he was so excited that he was about to jump out of bed and run to save his wealth. But the elderly patient was calmed down. The police wished him a speedy recovery and assured him that immediately after his discharge he would be able to come to the station and be reunited with his nearly lost money.
