In the Volchansk direction, the border guards of the Forpost brigade successfully repelled the attack of the Russian invaders. Under fire from the Ukrainian defenders, the enemy was forced to retreat with losses. During the battle, one of the stormtroopers was also captured - a native of the Kursk region, a warrant officer of the Russian army. It turned out that he fought in the "Storm Z" detachment, which is formed from convicts. Before mobilization, he served a sentence for desertion. In captivity, he thanked the Ukrainian fighters for saving his life and the assistance they provided, Censor.NET reports.
