A Londoner who installed a camera to monitor wildlife accidentally filmed a man in a balaclava inspecting the territory of a private house. The recording shows the intruder climbing over the fence and starting to inspect the barn and other buildings. According to the Briton, this happened just 20 minutes after installing the camera, while the family was quietly having dinner inside the house.

“We expected to see wild animals in the recording, but certainly not a thief in a balaclava. It is especially alarming that he appeared so quickly after installing the camera and was freely moving around the territory,” he said.

In addition, the owner of the camera immediately handed the video over to the police. Officers are currently studying the materials received and searching for the suspect. The incident occurred in the evening, at about 7 p.m. Law enforcement agencies urge residents to be attentive and report any suspicious individuals.
