Ryan Gosling will star in the new Star Wars — the film Star Wars: Starfighter will be released on May 28, 2027. Shawn Levy, the author of Deadpool and Wolverine, Protagonist, and Real Steel, is directing. This was reported by Variety.
The creators revealed that the events of the film will unfold approximately five years after the events of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, which became the finale of the Skywalker family saga. Other plot details are still being kept secret.
