Cruise ship "Harmony of the Seas"





This is the largest passenger ship in the world, surpassing two other Oasis-class cruise ships - "Enchantment of the Seas" and "Oasis of the Seas". It is 363 meters long, 66 meters wide, and 70 meters high.

"Harmony of the Seas" can accommodate up to 6,780 guests and 2,100 crew members. The ship was built by Chantiers de l’Atlantique, a shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, at the mouth of the Loire, for Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. The Bahamas-registered vessel took 32 months to build and cost more than $1 billion.

Harmony of the Seas will offer seven-night western Mediterranean cruises for its first season, from Barcelona to Rome. At the end of the summer season, the ship will begin crossing the Atlantic to the United States, where it will offer seven-night eastern and western Caribbean cruises.

The record-breaking ship has:

– 18 decks, including 16 guest decks

– 2,747 cabins, 1,768 balconies

– 4 bow thrusters with a capacity of 7.5 thousand horsepower each

– 24 guest elevators

– 7 different "quarters"

– 8 specialized restaurants with a total of 4,908 seats

– 11,252 works of art

– 2,150 tons of water can be accommodated in 23 swimming pools, a jacuzzi and a water park

– the highest 30-meter slide at sea

– the fastest internet at sea.
