Brazilian volleyball player Priscila Oliveira Heldes took part in the match in her fifth month of pregnancy. The athlete was allowed to play after a medical examination.
33-year-old Priscila Heldes played for the Fluminense team in the quarterfinals of the Brazilian championship. Despite her condition, the athlete decided to help the team in the game against Vole Bauru.
According to Brazilian media, the club's doctors allowed Heldes to take part in the match, but forbade her from falling on her stomach, and also monitored her throughout the match.
But such reinforcements did not help Fluminense - the team lost both the match and the series.
