Chinese Volkswagen promises a lifetime warranty on its crossovers with internal combustion engines (1 photo)
But there is one small nuance.
The Chinese joint venture SAIC-Volkswagen is trying an original way to attract customers. Anyone who buys SUVs of the Volkswagen Tharu, Tiguan L Pro and Teramont Pro models with an internal combustion engine is provided with a lifetime warranty. However, with the proviso that the owner will not resell the car to anyone else, in which case the manufacturer is released from its obligations.
The warranty is not limited by mileage or operating time and covers all the main components and assemblies of the car: engine, gearbox, suspension, steering, etc. Of course, subject to service at an authorized dealer.
The offer, as specified, will be valid in car dealerships in China only until April 30.
