An unusual incident occurred in the Malaysian city of Pontian. A local resident brought home his new girlfriend, whom he met through a dating app, but the family acquaintance turned into a loud revelation. Under the woman's traditional Muslim hijab and burqa was a man. 
As the sister of the deceived man said on social networks, her brother had been communicating with a girl named Hidaya on social networks for three weeks. The new friend introduced herself as an orphan from Sabah, who now lives in Kuala Lumpur.
The family welcomed the guest warmly, but almost immediately noticed discrepancies: Hidaya had warned in advance that she had a "large build and a boyish character," the photos sent looked strange -- the girl seemed too old. In addition, she categorically avoided showing her face, and when Maya's sister tried to take a closer look, she unexpectedly ran to the bathroom.
In the evening, the hostess asked the guest to take off the burqa before going to bed, but she refused. When the "bride" fell asleep, the relatives removed the veil from her and were surprised to find a man. 
The family of the deceived man does not understand how, in three weeks of virtual communication, the groom never once saw the face of his "bride" during video calls. Currently, law enforcement agencies are investigating all the circumstances of the incident.
