Jean-Claude Van Damme faces criminal charges for human trafficking (5 photos)
The action star is accused of using underage girls.
Van Damme risks being "canceled" and, in the long run, behind bars. He has become a defendant in a criminal case of human trafficking in distant Romania.
According to the investigation, in 2015 the actor was at the Cannes festival and decided to "relax" in female company. For this purpose, he was provided with five Romanian girls. But there is a criminal nuance - they were minors.
One of them recently contacted the police and they opened a criminal case. The lady states that at that time she was 16 years old. And she adds that she and the other girls were "gifted" to the actor
Jean-Claude Van Damme is accused of simultaneously using the sexual services of five Romanian girls who were in a vulnerable state, - said the lawyer of one of the victims.
The main suspect in the case is Romanian businessman and owner of the modeling agency Kasta Morrely Morel Bolea. Presumably, from 2000 to 2016, he recruited young girls for his office, and then forced them to sleep with wealthy sugar daddies - and not only in Romania. In legal terms: "involved in activities related to sexual exploitation using psychological coercion."
One of these sugar daddies was Jean-Claude Van Damme. Although this still needs to be proven. But the victims claim that it was Bolya who organized that party with the "groupie" Van Damme. And everyone around knew about it.
So the "Belgian karateka" is accused of involvement in the case on three counts at once: organizing a criminal group, using the services of an exploited person, and human trafficking.
How the investigation will end is still a big question mark. But the 64-year-old star of Kickboxer and Double Impact remains silent.
