Boston Dynamics showed how “humanely” one of its robots moves
Boston Dynamics has demonstrated the progress made in improving the motor abilities of the Atlas robot. The robot has learned to walk on all fours, roll, do somersaults, and break dance.
To master these movements, engineers used data about real people recorded by sensors. Based on this information, Atlas gradually learned to repeat the movements and perform them more accurately.
The company even says that this is the “world’s most dexterous humanoid robot,” and in the future it will help people in their daily lives and work in factories.
