In Texas, USA, a 34-year-old morgue worker castrated a criminal accused of sexual crimes before cremation. In this way, she decided to punish him.
A worker at the Houston Memorial Morgue, 34-year-old Amber Paige Loudermilk, was preparing the remains of 58-year-old Charles Roy Rodriguez for cremation. She knew that the man had been accused of sexual crimes in the past, so she decided to "punish" him.

With a co-worker and an intern present, Loudermilk cut off Rodriguez's penis and stuffed it in his mouth. She then turned to the intern and threatened him into keeping quiet about what had happened. However, the truth soon came out. A funeral director came to inspect the remains of the criminal and noticed his mutilated groin. He asked Loudermilk about it. In response, according to the director, she covered Rodriguez's pelvis with a towel and said, "A lot has happened to him."
Loudermilk was charged with desecration of remains. Police stressed that despite Rodriguez's crimes, the law requires him to be treated with respect after death. He was charged with rape in 2001. In January 2025, the man died in hospital of natural causes.
