In the US, a hairdresser punished a 15-year-old client (5 photos + 1 video)

A Maryland hairdresser posted a video on social media of how she deals with dishonest clients. In the footage, 18-year-old Jayla Cunningham grabs the girl by her hood and forces her into the room. "Sit here until your bill is paid," the hairdresser tells the 15-year-old. Now the American woman faces criminal liability. 
"I'm not fucking kidding. You fucking tried to run away," the stylist continues to swear. "You're lucky I didn't beat the crap out of you." She then cuts off the girl's braid and leaves.
The incident occurred on March 2, when an underage client refused to pay $150 for her services. Cunningham claims that the girl tried to run away without paying for her braid.
"She ran away without paying me. I dragged her by the hood back into the salon to make her pay for the service or wait for the police, or let me cut her braids. If I hadn't done that, she would have left," the stylist defends herself.
The teen's mother filed a police report and said the situation was very traumatic for her child. She claims her daughter accidentally sent money for the service to the wrong account and was trying to figure out how to return the money to Cunningham when she grabbed her.
The family has hired lawyers to represent the teen in court.
"This is a horrific video," attorney De'Aja Thompson told Fox 5. "This is a 15-year-old girl. We're talking about a child being dragged around the salon floor because of a simple mistake. Unfortunately, this case is an illustration of what happens when citizens take the law into their own hands. The victim suffered physical and psychological trauma, and the stylist is now facing jail time."
It turns out the stylist has a previous record of assault. She's scheduled to appear in court on April 18.
Cunningham says she's receiving death threats over the viral video. She also posted updated rules on her social media page, saying that regular customers will still be charged a $25 deposit, new customers will be charged the full amount and must send their ID, and minors will only be allowed in if accompanied by an adult.
