A warden in Britain received a sentence for an affair with a prisoner (4 photos)

In the UK, 26-year-old prison officer Katie Evans was sentenced to 21 months in prison for having sex with convicted robber Daniel Brownlee. The court found that the woman not only performed oral sex on him, but also passed on confidential information to the prisoner and managed his money.





The forbidden relationship lasted from March to November 2020. During this time, Evans and Brownlee exchanged 140 phone calls, some of which lasted almost an hour. In conversations, she asked him to call her "queen." The incident became known after Evans herself bragged about the relationship to a former colleague.



At the trial, it turned out that the woman received a thousand pounds sterling (about $1,100) - money that the convicted man earned from selling drugs.

The judge noted that Evans was "inexperienced and immature" and was subjected to manipulation by Brownlee, but this does not absolve her of responsibility.



Her sentence was reduced by three months, taking into account the presence of a minor daughter.
