A flight attendant was criticized for playing the violin (4 photos + 2 videos)
The United Airlines crew member who played the violin after the plane landed is making headlines online. Many users have accused the flight attendant of forcing passengers to listen to the performance.
One traveler posted a video of an airline employee playing the violin while passengers were waiting to disembark the plane. Some were sitting patiently in their seats, while others were taking bags out of the overhead compartments.
"Just landed at San Francisco airport and listened to live music. It was a real surprise," the author of the video explained.
However, not everyone shared the passenger's delight.
"Yeah, that shit would really upset me... We're locked in a steel tube, and this weirdo thinks everyone wants to listen to his nonsense," one user was indignant in the comments.
"A clever move. He made everyone sit there, enchanted by his music, and then he slowly walks down the aisle, pushing aside those who stand in his way, and is the first to leave the plane," joked another.
A third admitted that the scene reminded him of scenes from Titanic.
"I think he really likes the passengers, he's a very kind and friendly person. It doesn't look like he makes much money, and domestic flights are low-paying," another viewer shared.

This isn't the first time passengers have been offered live music.
In 2023, a small concert was held on board a plane flying from Dublin to New York. A woman played the violin and a man accompanied her on the accordion, creating the melody of a traditional Irish jig. But not everyone was happy with the transatlantic musical session.
The video was published by marketer Adam Singer: “Yesterday I flew on Aer Lingus from Dublin to JFK. I understand that it was done with the best intentions, but I don’t think it’s a good idea to play music (or worse, sing) in a confined space from which there is no escape.”
