I found peace: a father of three lost his home and moved away from his family to a cave (5 photos + 1 video)

The 55-year-old man's life changed overnight. His house was destroyed by an earthquake, but fortunately Bozoglan, his wife and three children were safe.





He was going through hard times, but two years ago he discovered a cave and decided to live there.



In an effort to overcome his fear of earthquakes and live as far away from people as possible, a Turk built a new home deep in the earth. He shared that he feels happy and has met all his needs. The district governor offered Bozoglan an alternative - a container for living, but he categorically refused.

"I have been living here for 2 years after the earthquake and have found peace in this cave. This cave has existed for thousands of years and has not collapsed. I spend very good days in the cave and I am calm. I am far from everyone," the man shared.

He said that during the day he washes dishes, does laundry, cleans and cooks his own food.





"I am away from everyone and in contact with nature. Uneducated people speak badly of me living in a cave. Because they have not sat with me, have not talked to me and do not know me," Bozoglan said.

Many guests come to his new home. One married couple even stayed in the cave overnight.

"Since there are no windows in the cave, it stays warm inside. I don't need a warm environment. Because no matter how much snow, rain, cold or frost there is, I never feel cold. Snakes and mice sometimes come into the cave," the Turk said.



The Turk tried to dig a septic tank for a toilet, but broke through the village pipes, so he is looking for another option. He also complained about problems with electricity.



"I want to use solar panels if I have the opportunity. I want the solar panel to power the washing machine and the refrigerator. There is an exit at the back. I ride a motorcycle from there with the help of philanthropists," the man added.
