A piece of debris from a plane that crashed in Philadelphia hit a cafe patron in the head. The establishment is located several hundred meters from the crash site. 
A patron of a restaurant in Philadelphia was hit by debris from a Learjet 55 light aircraft that crashed in the city on the night of February 1. The man survived, according to American media.
The incident was recorded on a surveillance camera. The video shows the debris flying into the room at high speed and hitting the man in the head, knocking off his baseball cap. After that, the victim falls to the side. The video also shows some other patrons falling to the floor in panic.
The manager of the establishment told The New York Post that one of the customers was hit in the head with a “piece of metal.” The man was taken to the hospital by ambulance. “We don’t know exactly how he’s feeling, but we hope he’s going to be OK,” the manager said. According to him, no one else in the restaurant was hurt.
According to NYP, the establishment is located about “half a mile” from the crash site, or about half a mile.
Seven people died in the Philadelphia plane crash. Six of them were on board, and the seventh was on the ground. Another 19 people were injured.
The light aircraft was on a medical flight. On board were two pilots, two doctors, a seriously ill girl and her mother. All passengers and pilots were Mexican citizens. The girl had flown to the US for surgery and was supposed to return home.
