Woman Makes "Eerie" Discovery While Looking Under Floorboards of 250-Year-Old House (1 photo + 1 video)

A user of the platform known as Amelia posted a video in which she talked about her discovery. According to her, she noticed that one of the floorboards was loose and decided to lift it up to figure it out. Instead of the usual minor repair, the girl found strange objects: a penny of Edward VII from 1904 and a gold book hidden among the rubble.
"It's all dirty," Amelia noted, holding the book in her hands.
However, when she tried to open it, she encountered a surprise - the pages were unusually thick. Puzzled by the find, the girl promised to clean the book before continuing her exploration. In the caption to the video, she said that she also found old nails and paper.
"I want to know why it was all hidden there," she added.
The video instantly went viral, gaining 8.5 million views. Viewers were eagerly waiting for Amelia to show the contents of the mysterious book. In subsequent videos, the girl said that she found old portraits, images of her home, and creepy photos with dark shadows in empty rooms in the book.
TikTok users began actively discussing the find.
"What if, when you opened the book, you let out what was in the photographs?" one of them suggested.
Others suggested that the house could have been built on the site of the tragedy or rebuilt after the fire. Some, on the contrary, tried to calm Amelia down, claiming that the dark shadows were just the result of the photographs aging.
Amelia herself admitted that she has been feeling uneasy since the discovery.
"I can't help but think about what else could be hidden under this house," she noted in one of the videos.
