A corgi policeman was deprived of his bonus in China: he slept on the job and peed in a bowl of food (3 photos + 1 video)

China's first police dog, a corgi, has been punished. He lost his performance bonus after he was caught sleeping on the job and urinating in his food bowl.





Fuzai, who works for the Chinese police, is still young: he was born in August 2023. The puppy ended up at the police training base when he was just two months old. Fuzai was handed over there by his owner.

In January 2024, the corgi received his first official position - "reserve operative for the detection of explosives." And soon he became a celebrity: on the Chinese platform Weibo, people watched videos with him tens of millions of times. Interest in Fuzai was also supported by state media, saying that, despite his young age, he shows better results than his dog colleagues.

Already in October 2024, the dog was transferred from the reserve to full-time work. And in January 2025, a video appeared where the police thank Fuzai for good service and reward him with toys and treats. It also became known that the dog passed the "fourth level certification for police dogs."



However, Fuzai's career has also had reputational failures. In particular, the same video revealed that the corgi recently decided to take a nap at his workplace and also peed in his own food bowl. Because of this, he was deprived of his "annual bonus" in the form of treats and toys.



People on social media immediately demanded that at least Fuzai's treats not be taken away - and the police listened, giving him others. However, the situation caused a storm of comments from people in China. "Poor Fuzai, worked hard all these years, only to lose his bonus at the end. I understand him so much," wrote, for example, one user. There were also those who noticed that Fuzai peed in his own bowl, not his boss's, so his actions were not so bad.
