The "daringest" man in the world did not leave his house and now lives in the middle of the highway (3 photos + 2 videos)
Huang Ping's house, located in the southwest of Shanghai, charms passers-by. They often stop and take photos of the urban curiosity.
House in the middle of the highway
The published photos show that the house is "sandwiched" between two lanes of the highway and from a bird's eye view resembles an eye. The premises were fenced off with high walls to separate them from the road, which is not yet used by vehicles. There is a mess around, because construction is ongoing.
Huang was reportedly offered £178,000 and a choice of three properties elsewhere, but the landlord refused to move because he was unhappy with the offer. He now has to take his 11-year-old grandson downtown for the day and return home when the builders have finished their work.
The man held lengthy negotiations with the Jinxi County Party Committee, but nothing came of it. Locals have dubbed Huang "the strongest nail master" in China. His home, located southwest of Shanghai, charms passersby, who often stop and take photos of the urban wonder.

The owner regrets
In a conversation with reporters, Huang admitted: "If I could turn back time, I would agree to the demolition conditions they proposed. I regret my decision a little."
The owner is very worried about the noise and air quality when the highway near his house opens to traffic. According to the plan, this should happen in the spring.
