Antistress: fashion brand causes controversy over clothes in bubble wrap (1 photo + 2 videos)
The fashion brand surprised customers and internet users with its new collection of clothes made from transparent bubble wrap.
An unexpected experiment in the fashion world has sparked heated discussions and, thanks to a popular TikTok video, has gone viral.
The unusual line, presented in the brand's store in the Dana Mall shopping center in Minsk, includes a transparent dress costing about $86 and a jacket for $116. The video, filmed by TikTok user Yana, has gained more than 115 thousand views, demonstrating both the products themselves and their price tags.
"Girls, if you're looking for a dress for New Year's, this is the place for you," the author of the video joked, causing a wave of comments from viewers.
Network users' reactions were mixed: some considered the clothes a great option for a New Year's party, while others joked about the "anti-stress effect" of bubble wrap, wondering if it's possible to pop bubbles on the go. However, despite its provocative design, the collection exists in all seriousness and is presented in a limited edition of only 20 dresses and 20 jackets.
"Among the velvet and satin on New Year's Eve, those who want to go beyond the usual can express their state in our clothes," the ZNWR brand explained the concept of the new line on Instagram.
The publication notes that the unusual experiment has already brought the brand comparisons with the iconic fashion house Balenciaga, known for its provocative and extravagant designs. ZNWR confidently secures its status as one of the most discussed fashion brands in Belarus.
