Ukrainian soldiers of the 61st separate mechanized brigade successfully repelled an attempt by Russian marines from the 177th regiment of the Russian Armed Forces to storm the village of Kurilovka in the Kursk region. During the fighting, two Russian servicemen were captured. According to the prisoners, the conditions in their units were catastrophic: due to a lack of food, they were forced to eat tree bark and even a dead cow, Censor.NET reports.
