On the morning of December 21, 2024, Kazan (Tatarstan, Russian Federation) was attacked by drones. This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the ASTRA Telegram channel.
"Residents of Kazan and Tatarstan report new explosions," the report says.
It is also noted that one of the drones, under the influence of the Russian electronic warfare system, flew into a multi-story building.
Meanwhile, the Russian Defense Ministry notes that in the morning, air defense systems destroyed a Ukrainian drone over the territory of Tatarstan.
Later, it became known about new hits on houses.
"As a result of the drone attack in Kazan, fires broke out in houses in three districts - Sovetsky, Kirovsky and Privolzhsky," the mayor's office clarified.
Footage of hits and fires is being published on social networks.
