The process of creating vinyl records
The magic of making vinyl records begins with a scattering of tiny PVC pellets, reminiscent of multi-colored plastic peas. These unremarkable balls undergo an amazing metamorphosis - first they are painted in the desired color, and then sent to a real plastic purgatory, where they melt and merge into a single mass, similar to a bizarre sausage.
The most crucial moment comes when this blank gets under the press with a matrix - here under enormous pressure the very relief of the sound tracks is born, along which the needle of the player will soon travel, extracting music. In the end, the central sticker is applied to the still warm record. Thus, ordinary plastic turns into a portal to the magical world of analog sound, where each groove stores a piece of musical history.
