A charming duo: a dog saved a homeless kitten (16 photos)

One day, while on a walk, a dog named Tessa heard a faint meow coming from the bushes. She showed the kitten to her owners, and they agreed to take him home. As soon as little Circe became a member of the family, Tessa took on the role of a caring mother.





Before finding her owners, Tessa went through many difficulties. However, despite everything she went through, she is now a happy and energetic dog.



"Tessa is very charismatic. She loves people and has amazing energy. Tessa loves walks and new experiences," the owner said.

They also shared Circe's story: "We heard a plaintive meow coming from the bushes, but we couldn't figure out where it was coming from. Then we let Tessa go look for it, and she immediately found the kitten. We didn't expect it to be so small. When I saw him with his eyes closed, so scared, I immediately knew that I wanted to take him home and give him the best life."





"When we carried the kitten home, Tessa was there, trying to sniff and make sure everything was okay. And at home, she kept an eye on him"





Over time, Circe began to imitate Tessa's behavior, and now looks more like a dog than a cat. They play together, sharing toys and food.



"Tessa is very protective of Circe. She used to be very protective of her food and treats, but she shares with her."





Meanwhile, the cat has adopted dog habits.

"Circe grabs things all over the house and carries them in her mouth. You can throw toys at her - she catches them. She also plays a lot with Tessa, and their games are very similar to those of a dog."

"When Circe catches a lizard, she always gives it to Tessa. They share their toys, and I love it when pets play together."



"I've always said that the best way to take care of pets is to understand their character and what they really like, and try to make their life better," the owner concluded.
