Cher Reveals How John Lennon Stripped Down in Front of Her at the Playboy Mansion (4 Photos)
Pop icon Cher once brought the Beatles legend to the Playboy Mansion. John Lennon drank too much and stripped naked right in front of his companion. 
In 1974, Cher met Lennon and his friend Harry Nilsson at a Los Angeles restaurant. She suggested that they continue the evening by watching a movie at Hugh Hefner's famous mansion.
In her new book, Cher: A Memoir, the star recalls that John was eager to visit the house known for its drunken orgies. However, Sunday movie nights were much more modest and quiet. They offered cocktails, treated people to dinner, and showed the latest films. When the company arrived at Hefner's, Cher realized that her new friends had drunk too much. 
John and Harry, with a fake aristocratic English accent, began chanting: "Hef! Hef! Hef!" The singer hurried to lead her friends away from the founder of Playboy.
She writes: "John and Harry followed me, laughing and falling over each other. I sat them down in the Grotto - a huge cave with a pool. When I returned to them with drinks, they were standing in the water - completely naked."
"I tried not to laugh, but it was impossible, as they threatened to walk around the mansion like that. It took me forever to convince them to get dressed." 
Cher sometimes visited Hefner with her daughter, and he once gave the five-year-old a life-size lion statue. 
Hugh purchased the famous California mansion in 1971 and lived there until his death in 2017.
After Hugh's death, his widow Crystal Hefner published a scandalous memoir in which she confirmed the fact of violence against models in the mansion. She admitted that she felt trapped.
