A plumber from Lochristie (Belgium) was sentenced to 40 months in prison for spying on naked clients and his own wife with a hidden camera. The prosecutor's office found him in May last year, and the court recently announced the verdict.
The investigation against the Belgian began in May 2023. His wife contacted the police after finding two suspicious videos of a naked woman taking a shower on her computer.
During an argument, the man admitted to installing a hidden camera in the client's bathroom. He eventually removed the camera and deleted the footage, but later his wife found another folder on the computer containing secretly taken photos of her and other victims through the keyhole.
The woman soon filed for divorce, but the story did not end there. She later accidentally discovered a spy device in her bedroom.
During a search of the plumber, two memory cards, a mobile phone, a laptop, and a tablet were found. He pleaded guilty and received three years and three months in prison, and was forced to pay the victims 23,000 euros. In addition, the culprit was deprived of the right to participate in the country's political life for 10 years.
