A previously unknown waltz by Chopin was found in New York

Morgan Library and Museum employee Robinson McClellan was browsing through a collection of cultural artifacts when he came across a sheet of music he had never seen before. It was simply labeled: Chopin.

Research has shown that the handwriting and markings are typical of Frederic Chopin, and the materials are authentic to his era. The score was dated to 1830-1835, when the composer was in his early 20s.
