Iconic Jawa Motorcycles Return to Ukraine (5 photos)

The Jawa brand is returning to the Ukrainian market. The Czech motorcycle manufacturer is celebrating its 95th anniversary this year. Focus writes about it.

Jawa motorcycles are currently produced in India at the facilities of the Mahindra&Mahindra concern. The model range is now much wider than in the 70s or 80s.



Initially, the Jawa line in Ukraine will include six models. These are modern versions of famous motorcycles of the brand.

In particular, it will be possible to choose two modifications of the classic two-stroke Jawa 350 - 634 Retro and 640 Style. They are equipped with a 23-horsepower motor and front disc brakes. The price is 5300-5800 euros.





There are also modernized Jawa 350 OHC motorcycles with four-stroke 27-horsepower engines of the Euro-5 standard with an overhead camshaft, as well as an electric starter and ABS. There is a Sport version with a different design. They were estimated at 5,800-6,200 euros.



The Jawa 300 CL motorcycle for 6,000 euros is a remake of the classic "Kivachka" 250 with a lot of chrome. The motorcycle received a 300-cc four-stroke engine with 23 hp. and is capable of developing 125 km/h.



The Jawa 350 Perak resembles a vintage Harley-Davidson, although it is actually based on a model from the late 40s. It is the most expensive (6,900 euros) and the most powerful – it received a 334 cubic meter two-stroke engine with 31 hp. It was equipped with a 6-speed gearbox and ABS.
