An exclusive Mercedes S-Class W140 station wagon was put up for auction (4 photos)
In Great Britain, DK Engineering put up a very unusual Mercedes S600 W140. The cult executive car of the 90s was transformed into a practical station wagon. Focus writes about it.
The Mercedes S-Class W140 station wagon was created in the British studio Falcon Design and it exists in one and only copy (although there were similar models from other studios). The extended Mercedes S600L of 1994, which was brought from Japan, was taken as a basis.
The roof of the sedan was extended and side windows were added. The trunk door was borrowed from the Mercedes E-Class W210 station wagon. By the way, the luggage compartment has become larger.
The interior of the Mercedes S600 W140 also has a rather unusual appearance. It was completely sheathed in bright emerald leather. Of course, the dual-zone climate control, sunroof, ESP, electric drive and heated seats are preserved.
The Mercedes S600 engine remained unchanged. The station wagon is equipped with a 6.0-liter V12 with a capacity of 394 hp. and a 4-speed automatic gearbox. The car is well preserved, and its mileage in 30 years is 108,000 km.
