Themed LEGO-style trains launched in Dubai (3 photos + 1 video)
In Dubai, the metro celebrated its 15th anniversary in an unusual way. Thematic LEGO trains were launched. The interesting trains will run around the city throughout September. 
In honor of the 15th anniversary of the Dubai Metro, the Mall of the Emirates station has been transformed into a real LEGO world, and LEGO-designed trains are running on the red line. Multi-colored carriages with iconic bricks and famous characters will operate until the end of September, reports the international publication TimeOut.
To celebrate the anniversary, Dubai Metro, in collaboration with LEGO, LEGOLAND Dubai Resort, Igloo and Emirates Post Group, has prepared a range of gifts for passengers.
Emirates Post has released four limited edition themed postage stamps. At some stations, Igloo is distributing Metro train-shaped ice cream.
Each package contains a special code that gives a chance to win one of 5,000 limited edition Nol travel cards in LEGO design.
Lucky ones born on September 9 can receive a special Dubai Metro babies subsidy and an invitation to LEGOLAND for a party.
