A Donald Trump supporter who has attracted media and social media attention for her radical tattoo is now asking passersby in London for financial help.
Rain Monroe, 21, who shocked the public last month by getting a tattoo in support of Republican candidate Donald Trump, is considering getting it removed.
The girl admits that the backlash from society has influenced her decision. She has already posted more than a dozen messages and photos on the social network, in which she holds a sign that says: "We need money to remove tattoos." Rain, with a TRUMP tattoo on her forehead, was spotted in London, where she asked passers-by for financial help.
"The hatred from people has affected me. I am collecting money to remove the tattoo. It can cost up to $5,000," the girl, who was born in the UK, admitted.
However, she added that she is not removing the tattoo yet, but is considering options to decide what would be best for her.
"I have a lot of support too so I'm not sure if I'm going to take it down yet. I love my fans," Rain wrote.
In one of the photos she posted to her 19,000 followers, Rain looks sad as she sits on the sidewalk with the message on cardboard. In the comments section of the post, her fans and critics weighed in on the tattoo and her decision to keep it or remove it.
One enthusiastic fan wrote, "Don't remove it! Best tattoo!" Another added, "Keep it! You're a legend now." A third agreed, "No need to remove it."
However, one critic noted, "She did it for popularity and now she wants to remove it. It's ridiculous, let her keep it." Another wrote, "Let her live with this decision." A third added, "She's just trolling everyone now."
