An orangutan escaped from a Toronto zoo

He jumped over the fence, performing a professional acrobatic trick, and then walked on a tightrope.

Kembali was on one of the towers in the open part of the zoo. He “professionally” performed an acrobatic trick resembling a cartwheel to jump over the fence installed at the top of the tower to prevent the zoo inhabitants from escaping.

The orangutan then walked along the tightrope, went around the wire near the top of the tower and came down. But Kembali was not free for long. The escaped animal was safely captured and returned to his enclosure.

Zoo staff describe Kembali as a “free-spirited animal who knows how to find joy in every moment.”
