And on websites offering services, there are offers from professional huggers with hourly pay (here I doubt that for a higher fee they don’t offer more).

How a hugger became a profession

People lack tactile contact. This has sharply worsened during Covid in many countries, but in conservative Indonesia it has taken on more acute forms. There, in some states, a couple can’t even hold hands, of course, you’ll go hungry.

The hugger must be a "handsome" psychology graduate between the ages of 18 and 45.

Who uses them? In fact, not so much single people, but people with low self-esteem. For example, educated girls who are not in demand among guys, which means they are not in the cards for a quick wedding.
