Most Italians will make a displeased face at the phrase "pizza with pineapples". They believe that this is a mockery of Italian cuisine and that the exotic fruit has no place on pizza. One of the Italian pizzerias has added pizza with pineapples to the menu, but did so that as few people as possible would order it.
