The newest Russian air defense missile system Pantsir-S1 burns out in a field in the Lugansk region

The newest Russian anti-aircraft missile and gun system "Pantsir-S1" was destroyed on June 10 in the Lugansk region by a GMLRS HIMARS missile strike. According to Censor.NET, a video recording of the affected complex was published on social networks.

“It’s ironic, but the Pantsir is the main missile defense system of the Russian Armed Forces and protects especially important targets from HIMARS. But the air defense missile system could not even cover itself. The destroyed Pantsir was part of the 1st Special Purpose Air and Missile Defense Army, which covers Moscow. But the enemy is forced to throw all his forces even from Moscow to the front,” notes the commentary on the video.
