The American studio Apocalypse 6×6 is known for its extreme modifications of SUVs and pickups, which tuners often equip with an additional third axle. Their projects have scary names like Hellfire and Juggernaut, but the new version of the Jeep Gladiator has received the rather peaceful name Overlander. In fact, this is one of the most extreme campervans you can buy right now.
Judging by the shape of the body, the Overlander was built using solutions used in the Hellfire project - the vehicles have a similar shape of the cargo platform. However, the current all-terrain vehicle differs from previous Jeeps with giant wheels with off-road tires and a traditional radiator grille, although, as a rule, the Apocalypse 6x6 changes it to something more distinctive.
The back of the pickup truck is equipped with everything necessary for survival in isolation from civilization: an electricity generator and water tanks, a sliding awning and an air mattress, a built-in gas grill, a functional shower and even a TV. Side ramps can accommodate additional luggage or tools, and the interior is lined with durable materials.
The Apocalypse 6×6 does not go into technical details, but on previous extreme Gladiators the studio used a 6.2-liter V8 boosted to 750 horsepower, and the drive type could be chosen between 6×6 or 6×4. The price is also unknown, although, given previous projects, it is highly likely to significantly exceed 150 thousand dollars.
