The Kraken GUR unit showed the battles for Chasov Yar

A special unit of the Main Intelligence Directorate, Kraken, spoke about how the defense of the city of Chasov Yar is taking place in the face of constant assaults by the Russians. Now there are no Russian troops in Chasovoy Yar.

As the special forces said, they have been defending the city of Chasov Yar for more than a month, which has become one of the symbols of courage and perseverance of the Ukrainian army, Censor.NET reports.

“The fighters heroically hold the defense, daily destroy numerous enemies, burn enemy armored vehicles and take prisoners,” the message says.

According to them, the enemy is trying to advance from different directions, but thanks to the coordinated work of the unit, there is not a single occupier in the city yet.

The Kraken special unit was created 1.5 weeks before Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. The unit’s fighters managed to destroy two surveillance towers on Russian territory.
