In Thailand they measure whether you sing the national anthem loudly enough (5 photos + 1 video)

True, only at school there are particularly zealous directors. In Thailand, it is customary for schoolchildren to sing the national anthem every morning before going to their classes.

Can you imagine the “enthusiasm” of the students when they have to sing not even once a week on Mondays, but EVERY day? Their faces are not happy.

How are high school students already fed up with this and are too lazy to sing?

So school directors are struggling with children’s blatant disregard for their responsibilities. And they placed “effort indicators” on the site in front of the ruler, simply decibel meters for measuring volume.

And they forced me to sing in front of the decibel meters turned on. If they sang a verse at a volume of up to 85 decibels, and didn’t stand around picking their noses, then they can go to class.

Even the little ones are singing

And if it was weak between 80 and 85 dB, then the second verse was sung louder.

And if this morning everyone has become insolent and is sleeping on the move and singing quieter than 80 dB, then they sing the anthem THREE TIMES in a row with the whole lineup.

This is a collective guarantee: in order to disperse, everyone must try and fight. At the same time, it teaches children to collectivism - to achieve a common goal by cooperating efforts.

Meanwhile, 85 decibels are considered harmful to the human ear during constant listening; even vacuum cleaners are now made quieter by 75 dB so as not to harm human eardrums.

Some schools even have an orchestra that accompanies the singing

Fighting madness

Quite soon, the students' parents rebelled against this practice. Criticism of such a dubious decision began to snowball on the Internet.

But the fact that they scolded the school did not particularly impress anyone. But when they started writing that this was a complete devaluation of the national anthem - using it to torture children - the administration immediately began to move.

In Thailand, school uniforms are accepted, which greatly organizes children, as does the anthem

Teachers and parents in schools without decibel meters installed sound-measuring apps on their smartphones and secretly recorded children singing in the mornings in their schools.

It turned out that EVERYWHERE they sing weaker than 85 dB. The average singing level is 70. Even in the largest school, where 4,300 students sang the anthem. That is, if you introduce such a scale throughout the country, then literally everyone will stand and sing the anthem three times until they lose consciousness.

And in the anthem of Thailand there are lines “Thailand unites people of Thai blood”, like that - they don’t like strangers here!

Meanwhile, school is needed to study, and not to suffer foolishly.
