Historical photographs, taken by someone on purpose or by accident, allow us to become witnesses of the past.
Sometimes a photograph can tell about some historical moments much better than dry words. The photographs show us what people were like in past eras and how certain events developed. Some photos capture what is not written about in books and textbooks.
