Land Rover presented the top version of the Range Rover Sport SUV (10 photos)

The British brand has unveiled the top-end version of the Range Rover Sport, tuned for the Nürburgring, which elevates it to the sportiest SUV category. The optional Stealth package costs £11,235 in the UK.





The British brand Land Rover has been producing the Range Rover Sport since 2005, and the current third-generation model was presented in the spring of 2022. Let us remember that then the SUV’s wheelbase grew by 74 mm to 2977 mm, as a result, the space for the knees of second-row passengers increased by 20 mm. The dimensions of the model also increased during the generation change: the current version has a length of 4946 mm, a width of 2047 mm, and a height of 1820 mm. The top version with the SV increase debuted in late spring 2023.

Now the British manufacturer is offering a new special version – the Range Rover Sport Stealth Pack, which, as the company noted, “emphasizes the dark side” of the SUV. The optional Stealth package includes a special Carpathian Gray Satin exterior color with gloss black trim inserts. This car has a special coating that protects body parts from minor scratches.

Ventilation holes are integrated into the hood of the SUV. The brand logo and the inscriptions with the family name are made in a darkened version. This SUV also has a dark roof and original 23-inch glossy black wheels, and behind them are brake calipers of the same color.

The interior of the Range Rover Sport variant with the Stealth package differs due to the presence of ebony elements and perforated leather seat trim. The model has a laconic design of the center console with an 11.4-inch diagonal touch screen; the infotainment system can be updated over the air. The model was equipped with a Meridian Surround Sound speaker system.

The special version has standard equipment. Let us remind you that the SUV line includes 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engines of the Ingenium family. The list of diesel engines includes D250 (249 hp, 600 Nm), D300 (300 hp, 350 Nm) and D350 (350 hp, 700 Nm), they can work as part of a mild hybrid installation in tandem with 48-volt makeweight and a small buffer battery.

At the same time, gasoline inline sixes are included in MHEV systems by default. Range Rover Sport has two such versions - P360 (360 hp, 500 Nm) and P400 (400 hp, 550 Nm). All options are paired only with an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission. Later this year, an optional Stealth package will be available for the P460e and P550e plug-in hybrids: both versions are based on a gasoline engine paired with an electric motor integrated into the automatic transmission and a battery (maximum range when driving on electric power alone is 119 km).

The cost of the optional Stealth package in the UK is already known, it is £11,235. The Range Rover Sport starts at £83,620.
