In Texas, three boys robbed a bank (3 photos + 1 video)
The tough brothers from the Little Rascals gang were 16, 12 and 11 years old at the time of their arrest; two of them were handed over to the police by their parents themselves. 
The trio first appeared in the local press last Thursday when the Houston FBI released a report saying they were wanted for bank robbery. The robbery followed a classic pattern. 
The bank that was robbed by children
According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office, around 3 p.m. local time, the kids passed a threatening note to a cashier at the Wells Fargo at the intersection of North Highway and West Road, five miles from where they live.
How much money the cashier gave them was not disclosed by the press; all that is known is that the bills were counterfeit. 
"The age of the two little bandits is unusual for a bank robbery," said Mike Schneider, a retired juvenile district court judge. "This is one of the first times I've seen that happen."
The police distributed a tip, according to which the parents identified their children and safely handed them over to the police. The third was detained during a street fight.
If the charges are proven true, they could face up to 18 years of probation or up to 19 years in juvenile prison.
