A man from occupied Gorlovka, who lost his arm in the war against Ukraine, transferred almost 3 million rubles to unknown people.

As Censor.NET reports, he spoke about this in a video message.

On the evening of January 1, he received a call allegedly from the Beeline company and was told that his card could be blocked. The man said that he was “scared” and gave them his passport information. 10 minutes later he received a call from Gosuslugi and was told that they were trying to gain unauthorized access to his account, and after that they called him from supposedly the Central Bank of the Russian Federation and stated that the case had been sent to the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation. After this, an investigator from the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation called him via video link and told him that a case had been opened regarding fraud.

Subsequently, the occupier received a call from the Central Bank of the Russian Federation and was sent a link through which the man sent almost 296 thousand rubles. The next day, Sidorov was called to go to the bank and withdraw 1 million rubles. He did this, went to another branch of the bank and deposited these funds into the accounts. He was told that these were accounts of insurance agents of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation. He also transferred the remaining amounts of 1.4 million rubles and 300 thousand rubles to the indicated accounts.

Some time after this, a bank employee allegedly asked Sidorov to tell him the address of the polling station, since the fraudster who stole Sidorov’s money was sitting at this station. The occupier was given the task of buying a bottle of water, pouring brilliant green into it, and at the polling station taking a ballot and filling the ballot box with brilliant green. He had to do this and film it. The man suspected something, contacted the so-called “police” and accused the Ukrainian special services of fraud.
