79-year-old actor Oh Yeon-soo was accused of harassment. The girl said that in 2017, the actor forcibly hugged her and kissed her on the cheek. Four years later, the “victim” contacted the police. A case was opened against the actor. According to investigators, Oh Yeon-soo hugged the woman in an “unacceptable manner.” The actor himself tried to hush up the matter, sending messages to the girl and assuring her that he treated her like a daughter.
South Korean prosecutors requested 1 year in prison for the actor. Yonhap agency reports this. 
The case was opened in 2022. In addition to the prison sentence, the prosecutor's office requested a ban on the actor from working in an institution where there are children. Oh Yeon Soo was very upset about what was happening.
“When I am judged for things like this at this age, I feel pain and agony. I feel like my whole life is falling apart,” Oh Yeon Soo said.
The verdict will be announced on March 15, 2024.
