A resident of Germany is selling an old bunker from the GDR era (5 photos)
The room is equipped with protection against radioactive fallout and, according to its owner, could become a shelter if a nuclear war breaks out.
Heinz Fuhrmann is selling a large plot on which there is a nuclear bunker with protection class C. The plot is located in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, it is surrounded by forest.
There is water and electricity on the site, and you can sit in the bunker if a nuclear war breaks out. There is a shower, a toilet, and a ventilation system.
The large building with an area of 950 square meters, as its owner suggests, was built for the Minister of Defense of the GDR, Heinz Hoffmann, who had a summer house nearby. Furman also claims that the site of the bunker used to be a Stasi listening station, although as a diversion during the GDR era, the buildings on the site officially housed a post office.
Furman plans to earn a million euros for the bunker.
He believes that this is an advantageous offer for “preppers” - people who carefully prepare for all kinds of disasters.
